In 2009 he started to experiment with Light Painting photographic technique in a pionner way in Spain. This technique is based on long exposures in dark locations, where the frame become the canvas, and lights are the tools and the paints for the artist. Children of Darklight knows how to choose wonderful locations in his beautiful Asturias, a land that has already been called “the lightpainters paradise”. In 2012 Alfredo became the Spanish representative for the Light Painting World Alliance (LPWA), a group of worldwide lightpainters trying to promote light painting as an art form itself apart from photography. Divine lights in an old church Light Painting meets a polish church It's not easy to find a catolic church or priest wich allowed to work in his church at night. Waldemar Pastusiak from the Sanktuarjum matki bozej zwycieskiej w Brdowie is a young priest of modern age. One of JanLeonardo's idea for this church was "Maria from Light". The Walther Pro PL70 (910 lumens) torch the entire location light. In this lightpainting series worked JanLeonardo only with a small Walther Pro PL70r with Sony A7R II, Sony / ZEISS FE 16-35 F4 Vario-Tessar ZA OSS, Manfrotto Carbon 057 & Gearhead 405 Thank you for the confidence priest Waldemar Pastusiak.
